- So In this blog, I'm gonna show you how to add that subscribe button on YouTube channels that are actually clickable, so people can click on it and then subscribe to your videos. Having a clickable subscribe button on your videos, especially on mobile where people can just click on it and subscribe to your channel is one way to start getting subscribers on YouTube that a lot of people don't do or even know about.
- This is definitely a great way to get more subscribers on YouTube and so I'm gonna show you how to do this on your video. First things first, you want to go to the YouTube Studio app. So we are going to click the icon up here and go to YouTube Studio and then once it loads on this left side of the page, we are gonna see customization and we're gonna click on Customization.
- We are gonna go over to Branding and this is where we're gonna see the video watermark. so down here, it's the third one down, we have a video watermark and it's saying to upload an image that's 150 by 150 pixels is what's recommended but I've actually found that it can be more than that but a square is definitely best if you do have a square image and then to use a PNG, GIF, JPEG any of that stuff, one megabyte or less. Okay, so we are gonna hit Upload. Now I just went on YouTube and I typed in YouTube subscribe square and I found this image and I was like, oh, this works perfect, you know, this is exactly what I'm looking for. You can definitely create your own in something like Canva or whatever other graphic design software that you use but for me, I just did a quick little Google search and this worked perfectly, downloaded it so, you can see here that it's 1250 by 1250, it's definitely more than 150 but you can see it is less than one megabyte, so I'm set.
- I do zoom in a little bit more if we want to zoom in, make that a little bit bigger and once you're done, all you gotta do is hit Done but don't cancel out yet because there's one more thing you have to do. First of all, there's this, this is the display time, and you have the End of the video. So this is gonna pop up at the end of the video or you can have it pop up, maybe five seconds in, grab their attention or the entire video. I like to have it up the entire video, so when someone's scrubbing through or whatever, you know it's gonna pop up at whatever time, and then when they go full-screen mode, usually it just goes away but once they click on the screen again, it pops back up, so I definitely like having this up the entire time. And once you have that selected the last thing you need to do, is hit Publish.
- So we're gonna hit Publish and once this loads, we're gonna get a notification saying change is published, go to the channel. So we can click on our channel and watch a video and make sure that this is, you know, all up to date. Now, once you've checked and made sure that it is there, look at that, right there, you can hit subscribe. Honestly, this is so cool, I love having this thing here, so yeah, I mean, this is super, super sick. Definitely having this here, being able to subscribe or jump to your channel is a really, really cool thing a lot of people don't know about, so definitely add those to your YouTube videos. But also keep in mind, this is going to be on all your videos. You don't have to do that for every single upload or anything like that, once you click the entire video, it is going to automatically update all your videos and put that over all of your videos. So you don't need to do that every time, I figured people might ask that, that is exactly how you do it.
